STEEL ASSASSIN To Enter Studio In May
January 8, 2011Massachusetts metallers STEEL ASSASSIN are scheduled to enter the studio in May to begin recording their long-awaited sophomore album, "WWII: Metal Of Honor", for a tentative September release.
In other news, STEEL ASSASSIN's "CA-35" / "Breakout At St. Lo" single has just been released featuring "two songs were going to be re-recorded and put on our upcoming brand new album. But because we have written too many songs to fit on a vinyl album, we are releasing this as a single and keep these songs off the upcoming album," said bassist Phil Grasso.
"Breakout At St. Lo" originally appeared on 2009's "In Hellfire Forged", the which was previously described by STEEL ASSASSIN as "not so much a 'best-of' album, but more of a remake of some of our old favorite tracks. With John [Falzone] singing these tunes, they have a harder edge, as do the guitar sounds."
STEEL ASSASSIN is:
John Falzone - Vocals
Kevin Curran - Guitar
Mike Mooney - Guitar
Phil Grasso - Bass
Greg Michalowski - Drums
